A: A consultation is the same concept as seeing a lawyer in person! The only difference is that our consultations are done online via email correspondence. A consultation is a necessary step so that our legal team can properly identify the issue and services needed based on your case scenario. This will allow us to give you guidance for the most appropriate service and prevent you from incorrectly selecting a service that you may otherwise find at a later stage was the wrong service for your case. It is important that before you purchase one of our services, that we are able to identify during consultation what documents will be required from you. This would include documents such as a Tongan birth certificate, or other relevant documents that is to be obtained from the correct office here in Tonga. We will provide you with a realistic time-frame to complete the service, and also inform you of any additional fees incurred whilst carrying out additional tasks for you. This process will allow us to take into consideration any pressing timelines, or urgent dates, and matters by which you may need the service to be completed.
